Finally, the Williams Sisters are in Lagos. They arrived Lagos yesterday, the 30th of October 2012.
Their Visit is part of the two nation tour of Africa by both the world acclaimed tennis players. The Williams sisters are scheduled to pay a courtesy visit
to Lagos State Executive Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola on Wednesday at the
State House in Marina. They schedule includes: paying Government College,
Osborne Road, Ikoyi a visit, an interactive session with the media at the
Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, they will play an exhibition game at the
Tennis Section of the Ikoyi Club 1938 and at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club before
they leave Nigeria for Johannesburg, South Africa.
They are here to empower women through the
-Breaking The Mould (BTM) campaign platform, put together by Octagon and its
West Africa affiliate, Connect Marketing Services Ltd.
