Manchester United Confirms Fegurson's Step Down!


Amid rampant speculation that he would step down, United tweeted: "Sir Alex Ferguson retires. #thankyousiralex".

A club statement read: "The most successful manager in English football history will bow out after the West Bromwich Albion game on 19 May and join the football club board."

He said: “The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about and one that I have not taken lightly. It is the right time,” said Scot Ferguson, who is set for hip surgery in the summer.
"It was important to me to leave an organization in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so.

"The quality of this league winning squad, and the balance of ages within it, bodes well for continued success at the highest level whilst the structure of the youth set-up will ensure that the long-term future of the club remains a bright one.

Sir Alex Fegurson To Quit Manchhester United!



It is being rumoured that Famous Sir Alex Ferguson is set to leave Manchester at the end of the season.

According to dailymail the 71 year old is poised to end his 27-year tenure as manager of Manchester United in front of Old Trafford crowd on Sunday after United’s game against Swansea and when they will be presented with the Barclays Premier League trophy, the 13th of Ferguson’s illustrious career.

They also said that talks are on to find a suitable replacement for Ferguson, Everton Manager Moyes is amongst the frontliners. As of turesay Manchester had not released any news of Fegurson’s future. (let me guess- Arsenal? Oh dear! But where will our dear Venger go?) ;-)
