NYSC Redeploys Corpers From Bornu, Kano and 5 Other States



It’s no news that Boko Haram’s attack in the Northern Nigeria rate is not a play thing. Therefore  the National Youth Service Corps has redeployed corps members posted to 7 northern states which includes: Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano and Yobe states to other states which they believe to have lesser security issues.

A statement was signed yesterday July 31st by the Director of Public Relations NYSC, Mrs Bose Aderibigbe, the corps members redeployed are part of the 2014 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course scheduled to commence next week Tuesday August 5, 2014


Blessing Okagbare (a.k.a Bullet) Has Won Yet Another Gold

She said she will win 3 gold medals. One at 100m, another at the 200m which she has just won, then another at the female long jump category. Well she's won Gold again in the Women's 200m in a time of 22.25 seconds, completing the Glasgow2014 sprint double. You rock Girl!

New Acting Inspector General Of Police Appointed By President Jonathan



Yesterday, President Goodluck Jonathan appointed an Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, as the acting Inspector-General of Police.

Until Abba’s appointment, he was the AIG in charge of Zone 7. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, confirmed the handing over of the baton in the police, he also said Abba’s appointment would take effect from Friday (today).
