According to Sahara Reporters Nigeria's Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar
is getting ready to remarry a year and a half after losing his wife, Maryam Abubakar,
to cancer. (She died in January 2012)
Sahara Reporters obtained a photo from a series of
photos taken during a photo shoot in preparation for their grand wedding.
IG Abubakar will be engaging in a three-day wedding to 35 year old Safiya (pictured above with him). Their wedding proper will take place on Saturday September 14th 2013.
