Very Touching: Nigerian Public Doctors Suspend Strike Over Ebola

Today 7th August 2014, Nigerian Public doctors have done a hero's deed by calling off their 5-week old strike to help with the fight against the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in Nigeria.

Yesterday, the Commissioner for Health in Lagos State appealed to striking doctors to call of their strike so as to help contain the spread of the virus.

In a statement issued by the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, the doctors have listed “the incursion of Ebola into Nigeria” as a main reason for suspending the strike.
