Florida police has reported that up to 50 people have been killed inside the Pulse night club. A law enforcement source told CNN that the gunman has been identified to be Omar Mateen of Ft. Pierce, Florida, the Orlando police shot and killed Mateen.
Orlando Police Chief John Mina said "It appears he was organized and well-prepared," The shooter had an assault-type weapon, a handgun and "some type of (other) device on him."
CNN reports that no terrorist group had taken responsibility but there
has been no claim of responsibility for the attack although some ISIS supporters have praised the attack.
