Nigeria's Mikel Obi Is Set To Move To Galatasaray
Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder
John Mikel Obi is set to leave Chelsea for Galatasaray. Mikel told Sabah,
a daily Turkish newspaper that the Turkey football club had made an offer which
he's pleased with and he is looking
forward to being in Istanbul.
He said:
'I asked Drogba for
advice and he told me that Istanbul is a fantastic city, that Galatasaray is a
huge club and that I have to make the move. I have played at Chelsea for a long
time and it's now time for me to leave.
'I'm still only 26 and
it's great to receive an offer from a club (Galatasaray) playing Champions
League football and doing well in the competition.'
Talks have reached an
advanced level between Chelsea and Galatasaray. Chelsea won't make the move
difficult and regarding my salary there won't be a problem. All that is left is
for the clubs to reach an agreement.'
*Sigh* If it's okay with you, then it's okay with us. Just ensure it's the right thing to do Mikel

Update On Military Troops Activity Against The Boko haram Sect In North Eastern Nigeria: Residents of Bornu Flee!
After the Nigerian
Military troops had killed some people suspected to be members of the book haram
sect, most of Nigerian dailies have reported that more than 2,000 Nigerians
living in border villages in Borno State have fled because of the ongoing
military operations aimed at defeating insurgents from the area since the
declaration of the emergency rule.
Many of the villagers
have been reported to flee to neighbouring Niger Republic. The fleeing
residents did not only head to Niger, they also fleed to neighbouring states
such as Kano and bauchi states.
Some reports has it
that the Joint Military Task Force extricated the boko haram sect from the
Sambisa Game Reserve and other camps on in Borno State.(one of the North
Eastern States of Nigeria).
Come to think of it,
this people have been left with no choice than to flee: A popular Nigerian
saying goes thus: When two elephants fight, the ants and the grass surely suffer.
They sure don’t want to be caught in the line of fire! So the only option for
them as they presume is to flee!
More updates coming...

Kim K, On High Heel With Swollen Feet (Edema), But Why Do Women Experience Edema?
Now that's Kim K, Squeezing her feet into high heels! *Sigh* the babe no gree sha! And heels it must be!
But Why do women have swollen feet during pregnancy? The condition is called Edema.
Answer is:
During
pregnancy, body fluids increase in order to nurture both mother and baby. As the
body tissues accumulate and retain fluids, you may experience the swelling particularly
swollen ankles and feet. Research says it’s pretty harmless and perfectly
normal.
It's also just as normal not to experience
noticeable swelling (I read that 25 percent of pregnant women don't).
So
that’s it! Just in case you were wondering!
Former Ryanair Air Hostess Reveals How They Were Forced To Buy Their Own £360 Uniforms and Are Forced To Take 3 months Unpaid Leave!
Ryanair’s
former air hostess who was employed by Crewlink, a contractor for Ryanair, has
revealed the harsh treatment she was subjected to.
She
said working conditions were 'a total nightmare'. She also described how she
was forced to take three months unpaid leave a year, during winter, her
contract did not allow her to take another job and she had to pay £360 for a
Ryanair uniform.
This
is how The Independent is reporting it:
They tend to look pretty miserable, and now
perhaps we will understand why. A former member of Ryanair's cabin crew has
blown the whistle on the conditions of work at Europe's largest budget airline.
Sophie Growcoot contacted her local MP to reveal
that her employment contract with Crewlink, a contractor for Ryanair forced her to take three months compulsory unpaid
leave a year – in the quiet winter months – during which she would be forbidden
to take another job but receive no money.
Made her pay £360 for a Ryanair uniform. She had
to pay another £1,800 towards a mandatory safety course.
Only paid her for the hours that she was actually
"in the air". She was not paid for pre-flight briefings, turnaround
time between flights, sales meetings and time on the ground due to delays and
flight cancellations. The hourly flying rate was just £13.07 an hour with no
contractual review for three years.
Paid her for only four days work a week. On the
fifth she was expected to be on call and to turn up for work with an hour's
notice. Standby days were not paid unless she was called in to work.

Boko haram had been in control of the following
areas in Borno Marte, Magumeri, Mobbar, Gubio, Guzamala, Abadamin, Kukawa,
Kaga, Nganzai and Monguno local governments.
President Goodluck Jonathan had said that all
efforts to bring the violence in the area under control had failed hence the
need to use force to flush insurgents out of the states, especially Borno.
Here’s how a major report culled from Punch
EARLY reports of military operations in the three
North-East states under emergency rule, on Thursday, indicated that Nigerian
soldiers had recaptured three of the local government areas where insurgents

Gubio, Guzamala, Abadamin, Kukawa, Kaga, Nganzai and Monguno.

Do you Know: That The Flood Continues In Ejigbo L.C.D.A
The people who live here are lamenting about this situation as it is pathetic, cars gets broken down because of the flood, the traffic is heavy daily, because of the cars (broken down), plus life becomes excruciating for the residents of this area.
That's not all, who would send a child to school in this flooded main road, the drainages are filled to the brim and overflowing with murky water to mention a few.
I'm speaking the minds of the residents of Ejigbo L.C.D.A in Lagos state, we pray the L.C.D.A Chairman to do something about the flood! Particularly the drainages. Many of them have been in existence for more than 2 decades with little or no maintenance.
This is an opportunity for the L.C.D.A chairman to educate his people via publications, media e.t.c about environmental care.

President Goodluck Jonathan's Quote
Thank God that our dear president has finally taken a stand. We are kinda tired of hearing that he condemns the terrorist attacks that have been ravaging the northern part of Nigeria. I guess this is a sign that God has answered our prayers, as we expect more ACTION from the ASO Rock!
Here's a quote from his speech/declaration of state of emergency in Bornu, Yobe and Adamawa!
“I want to
reassure you all that those who are directly or indirectly encouraging any form
of rebellion against the Nigerian state, and their collaborators; those
insurgents and terrorists who take delight in killing our security operatives,
whoever they may be, wherever they may go, we will hunt them down, we will fish
them out, and we will bring them to justice. No matter what it takes, we will
win this war against terror.” - GEJ
*Thumbs Up* for GEJ
