South Africa's Ruling Party's Youth League Says Party Leaders Are Embarrassing The Party

The youth league of South Africa's ruling party reportedly said that the party's elders have been embarrassing the movement through a disruptive behavior. The former foreign affairs director general Mr. Sipho Pitayana has been accused by the league of dragging the ANC's name through the mud. 

It was reported that during the week at the funeral of former sports minister Makhenkesi Stofile, Mr. Pitayana called for President Jacob Zuma's resignation.

Ahmed al-Fagi al-Mahdi is an Islamic extremist and Jihadist from Mali. On Monday, he pleaded guilty to destroying shrines and damaging a mosque in the ancient city of Timbuktu, Mali at the International Criminal Court.

Prosecutors said that Ahmed al-Fagi al-Mahdi was member of a jihadist group linked to Al Qaeda, that took part in the smashing of a number of venerable centuries-old mud and stone buildings holding the tombs of holy men and scholars in Mali.

Turkey Suicide Bombing Update: The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has released a statement today Sunday the 21st of August, 2016 stating  that the suicide bomber whose act killed at least 51 people was a boy between the age of 12 to 14 carried out the attack. He also stated that it must have been for Isis.

Fortunately, the bride groom and his bride were survived the attack. Although they suffered some injuries but not critical.

The city of Nice has joined other cities in France and banned the used of Burkinis. A Burkini is a full body swimsuit worn by many muslim women, it covers the body except the hands, feet and face. 50 Dead, Many Wounded In Suicide Bombing At Turkish Wedding

Yesterday night about 11pm, an explosion rocked a wedding ceremony in the city of Gaziantep in Turkey after a suicide attack. At least 50 people have been killed including women and children. Many have also been left injured.

Ali Yerlikaya, the governor of Gaziantep has described the incident as a terror attack while
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has said "Daesh is the likely perpetrator of the attack", using the Arabic name for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) group.

South Africa Suffers Drought: Critical Dam Levels

South Africa is experiencing severe drought as dam levels are low. South Africa's department of water and sanitation (DWS) has reported that 13 dams are below 10%, 58 dams are below 40% and only 29 dams above 100% in the country. Hence DWS may be implementing water restrictions for the city of Johannesburg soon.

Yesterday Friday 19th of August, 2016 Donald Trump stated that "This morning Paul Manafort offered, and I accepted, his resignation from the campaign,". He also said that  he is appreciative for Paul's great work in helping to get them (his campaign) where they were today, and in particular his work guiding them through the delegate and convention process. Trump also said that Paul is a true professional and he wishes him the greatest success.
